                       INGREDIENTS

• Needed rice
•  cooking oil
•  turmeric
• Needed salt
• Tamarind pulp
• Jaggery (optional)
• Mustard powder
• chenna dal (senaga pappu)
• Peanuts 🥜
• Red chillies 🌶️
• Green chillies 
• Ginger 
• Spring curry leaves
• Pinch of hing


                      PREPARATION

Cook the rice to grainy, (rice shouldn't be soft) mushy rice not give you best taste or look.

Soak the tamarind for 15 minutes and then rinse it of the pulp and filter to get rid of the dust particles.

                            MAKING

~ Heat a pan with oil then add mustard, peanuts, chenna dal ( senaga pappu ),
Fry till the nuts get to golden tint, then add curry leaves, green chillies, red chillies, and ginger ( optional ), fry the mixture until the red chillies turn to crispy.

~ Then add hing followed by tamarind pulp.

~ Mix everything well and keep on flame till the mixture thickens.

~ Take the prepared rice (cooled) then sprinkle mustard powder on rice, then transfer 3/4 of the cooked pulihora mixture to the rice and mix it well.

~ Serve pulihora with fresh homemade curd.
